Some SCF fans may already know that Leigh was in the hospital for 19 days in April. He’s just fine now, thank goodness. During those 19 days, Sondra spent many a night in the hospital. And for one weekend, Chris came to visit. He really cheered Leigh up, gave Sondra a much needed break and enjoyed a Saturday supper at the farm.

Supper was flank steak, asparagus and roasted sweet potatoes with rosemary:
And for dessert, strawberries, which I marinated in balsamic vinegar and served with Greek yogurt:
It was lovely to catch up. And I bet it made Leigh get well even faster.
