Sunday Supper at the Ranch

For Sunday supper at the Ranch, we dined on pork chops and Mom showed off her new plants in the garden:

It was a little chilly for eating al fresco, so she set the table with a lovely shade of red.

Hummus:

Radishes:

Mom:

That sounds like a poem or a song, doesn’t it? Hummus, radishes and mom?

Here’s a cool birdhouse the folks picked up down in Tennessee. Rock City is one of those attractions that, in the earlier days of automobiles, you saw advertisements for as far away as Virginia.

When we were kids, driving down for our summer vacation, there was always a contest in the car to see who could spot the first sign.

The ranch is lookin’ mighty purty:

Some potted plants:

A gecko:

Cocktails and conversation:

Oh, look at those lovely plants!

A white peony I gave mom for mother’s day last year. Looking good!

Grandmom and her wine:

For supper we had brown rice:

Roasted asparagus:

And pork chops:

Supper:

Mom serves:

And a fine time was had by all.
