August on the High Line

Boo and I had a big day of fun in the city, starting with an exhibit of photos by Ai Wei Wei, moving on to a walk on the High Line and ending up with dinner at The Dtuch.

First, a little Ai Wei Wei. Who knew that he spent some time in the East Village in the 80s?

And now, for a stroll on the Highline.

It’s very crowded today.

What’s better than the High Line? Not much. I love the juxtaposition of urban and park, and I love how it changes over the seasons — beautiful in all. What a treasure. The website for the Highline is here: thehighline.org.
