The Les Paul Trio at The Iridium in Manhattan

For years, Les Paul, the inventor of the electric guitar, played every Monday night at the Iridium, the jazz club in Manhattan. Paul died in 2009, but his trio continues the tradition. Greg is doing a story on the Monday night show, which often has illustrious guests. The show we saw, with guest Stanley Jordan, was nothing short of astonishing. Jordan played one song using his left hand to play piano and his right to play guitar. He also did a jaw-dropping cover of Eleanor Rigby and a toe-tapping one of The City of New Orleans.

Here are a few photos from the club.
