On the Hunt for Blueberries

We’ve decided to take down the blackberries that we so dutifully planted three springs ago. They’re just too darn onery. And a lot of work. Blueberries, on the other hand, are a lot less work: prune them in the spring and harvest them in the summer. Done. That about suits our lifestyle these days!

So off we went to Rosedale for some reconnaissance.

Here’s what’s available. So we’ll do our research and figure out which ones we’d like to plant:

And then we picked up a few herbs. Chervil, for one. One of my faveys. Sam found a cup that amused her.
