The students and parents at the Green Meadow Waldorf School own a lovely little toy and book shop in Chestnut Ridge, near the school. I headed over there for a few presents for Sam for Christmas.

For Sam, I found a card game like Crazy 8s and another that has alphabet flash cards, a hand knitted toy pony and the book, Madeleine.
And shopping there was a complete pleasure.
All holiday shopping should be as organic.
