Gotham West is a new food hall at 45th and 10th Avenue. Kind of a long haul for most pre-theater nights, but this evening we had a bit of time on our hands, so we decided to check it out.
Sarah and her friend Kristen are in town for the Columbia Scholastic Press Association conference. Sarah and her class won a gold medal for the best literary magine in its Gold Circle Awards. Go Sarah!

Somehow I forgot to photograph most of the dishes we tried at El Colmado, but most everything we tried was delicious.
Patatas Bravas:
The only thing I didn’t care for was the prawn dish. The shrimp were a bit mealy.
Loved the jamon sandwich, the fired artchokes and most everything else! Plus, from 3-7 p.m., there’s an oyster happy hour. Worth a trip for that!
