Oh my! This is why we planted lilacs near the porch. The smell of them blooming has been such a treat. This one is called Syringa Bloomerang and it looks like it’s grown its full size of about four feet.
We planted two varieties in 2010, and have only seen a few blossoms here and there. But this year, they exploded!
This is a taller lilac tree called Syringa vulgaris ‘Sensation.’ It can get as tall as 8 or 10 feet.
