If you live anywhere near SCF, and you happen to drive past Tarrytown on Route 9, you may have seen Pretty Funny Vintage, a shop in an old Victorian on the east side of the street, just south of the intersection of Main and Broadway. There’s a big porch outside with a sign saying: Antiques, Curious Goods. You can’t miss it.
Even so, I never took the time to go inside. I’m so very glad that this rainy Saturday afternoon, I did. I found the chairs you see above, not unlike those on our porch, priced at $1250 for the pair. (That sounds like it’s good for us!)
And little toys, not nearly as expensive, like these seen below:

And lots and lots of vintage jewelry, especially cufflinks (check out those Vegas-style crown ones below!)
All in all a great place to pick up a few gifts, which I did. And will do again soon!
