An evening out with friends! We tried the new Communal Kitchen in Nyack. Everything we tasted was delicious, and we had a great time catching up.
Charlotte Haze, with Barr Hill gin, Damson Plum Liqueur and apricot eau de vie:
The H.M.S. Beagle, with smoked rye, blueberry shrub, thyme, bonal and amaro montenegro:
That one was our favorite!
I can’t remember which drink this was, but it was also good!
A few snacks. The chicken liver mousse was the clear winner on the “things in jars” section of the menu:
Spicy pork meatballs with chorizo tomato gravy and smoked provolone:
A real winner!
Roasted rainbow carrots with whipped feta, local honey and pistachios:
