One of my favorite adopted spring traditions is Passover Seder at Irene’s. She’s invited us for several years now and I look so forward to the food, the prayers, the people — all of it.
This year Irene and Mindy hosted a joint Seder.
(That is Corrina on Irene’s left.) We took turns around the table reading the Haggadah.
Peter, Tom and Kris:
Bitter herbs from Joan’s garden:
Beautiful eggs that Mindy dyed with a parsley leaf. Here’s the recipe: Huevos Haminados.
After the seder, we feasted.
Matzo ball soup:
Mindy’s family, Bob, Ellen and Steve:
Sophie, David and Brian:
Radish salad (I brought, here’s the recipe: Radish Salad with Meyer Lemon Vinaigrette)
Charoset by Andrea!
Sam loved her first seder!
