Charlie Bird in Manhattan

To New York, for a visit with Kelli and a delicious meal at Charlie Bird in SoHo. It starts with a martini.

Cute place. Super loud, but the buzz was fun.

Fried zucchini blossom.

Crunchy and sweet. Delicious.

Fluke. Isn’t it beautiful?

So delicate and fresh.

Peach salad with radicchio:

Lovely. Sweet and bitter.

Here’s my date:

Langoustines!

These were the only disappointment. They were just a little too underdone, and we weren’t able to get them out of the shells easily.

The famous farro salad. Made with heirloom tomatoes, basil, pistachios.

Afterward, a nightcap on the rooftop. Lovely evening.

The 411 on Charlie Bird.
