Supper at Cafe Barcel

We had a little bit of an anniversary celebration at our favey local restaurant, Cafe Barcel. I got the frisee salad with lardons, blue cheese and, yes, the poached egg. That’s right.

Our amuse this evening, tomato water gazpacho:

Corn soup:

Kevin was kind enough to send out the heirloom tomato salad with a fried green tomato:

The hunna got the open-faced ravioli, which he thought was a little too rich with bechamel:

I got the tagliatelle with porcini. It was rich but in a very good way:

And we shared the blueberry cobbler.

This was great, and inspired our Saturday night supper.
