SCF fans, I am trying. I’ve caught up with all of June, all of July (including our trip to the North Fork and a visit from Sarah, Wilson and the girls) and some of August. I still have September to go, but I can tell you this: I’m all up to date on October.
Here on the front page of SourCherryFarm.com, you’ll find visits to a ton of restaurants in New York, our tour of Eataly, some gardening chores, recipes, cocktails and a very fun book club meeting. Just scroll down and enjoy.
Further back in October, you’ll find more cooking and fall fun.
Here are a few highlights:
Mae at the Pumpkin Patch.
Shake Shack with Laurie.
Pancakes with Apple Crisp
Recipes for Apple-Pear Crisp, Zucchini-Tomato Gratin, Scallops with Orange Caramel Sauce, Posole and Butterflied Leg of Lamb
Our first first of the season.
Thanks Sour Cherry Fans, for hanging in there, even though our postings have become so infrequent. I am trying my darndest to catch up, and today, I did make some progress. Reports from our June trip to Minnesota are now complete, and include this fun video from the Mankato Farmers Market, which I like to call Greg Orders a Bag o Donuts:
You can find that video on this post here: A Trip to the Mankato Farmers Market, Wherein Greg Orders a Bag o Donuts.
