Cocktail Recipe: Jasmine

A nice aperitif, light and refrshing. It may be pink, but it’s not a pansy drink. From Cocktail: The Drink Bible for the 21st Century. We took the Cointreau up because the original recipe was a bit too tart for us.

Jasmine

6 ounces gin
2 ounces Cointreau
1 ounce Campari
3 ounces freshly squeezed lemon juice

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into chilled cocktail glasses. Makes 4 drinks with a handsome dividend.
