The weather was rainy and chilly, but we paid it no mind. We were going summer this Saturday night, even if it had to be indoors. Say hello to The Southside highball.
8-10 fresh mint leaves, plus a sprig for garnish
3 ounces gin
1 1/2 ounces fresh lemon juice
3/4 ounces simple syrup
Slap the mint leaves to release their oils. Put them at the bottom of a highball glass. Add gin, lemon juice and simple syrup and stir. Add ice, then setlzer. Garnish with a mint sprig and a lemon twist.
