South Slope Cocktail

I present the South Slope Cocktail.

The recipe comes to us from the beloved The PDT Cocktail Book: The Complete Bartender’s Guide from the Celebrated Speakeasy,” and, even though I own the book, was brought to my attention by Mr. Ed Forbes.

It will soon become your new favorite summer drink. It’s like a negroni, but with more layers.

Recipe created by Michael Madrusan in 2007. From the The PDT Cocktail Book: The Complete Bartender’s Guide from the Celebrated Speakeasy.”

3/4 ounce Beefeater Gin
3/4 ounce Aperol
3/4 ounce Lillet Blanc (Cocchi Americano)
1/2 ounce Curaçao (Senior Curaçao)
1/2 ounce Lemon Juice

Shake with ice and strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
