Inspired by a post I came across on TheKitchn, we decided to shake up some gin cocktails this Friday night.
I found their Fitzgerald cocktail recipe to be a bit sweet, so I’ve taken the simple syrup down for this recipe.
- 4 ounces gin
- 1 1/2 ounces freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 ounce simple syrup
- 4 dashes angostura bitters
- Combine gin, lemon juice and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a 2 coupe glasses and shake 2 dashes of bitters into each glass.
