Bourbon! Seafood! Bacon! Yes, that’s Maysville, a Southern restaurant with New York style.
We met for dinner before seeing Bradley Cooper in The Elephant Man on Broadway (great show).

Hay-roasted oystes with salsify. Killer!
Crispy grits with ham. Also delicious.
Shrimp toast. Super!
Flatbread with brussles sprouts. A revation! (They were topped with the leaves of the sprouts, which were fried!)
We didn’t trade bites, but here was the chicken under a brick:
Duck confit, collard greens, mushrooms, smoked broth and a poached egg:
The Long Island fluke with butternut squash and sour apple:
And my Whole Hog with Fresh Pasta, cilantro and jalapeño:
Good but super-rich. Nearly too rich for me!
The restaurant is very handsome:
