SCF gets a new dining table, a new desk and a new credenza. We’re pretty excited around here.
First, for old-times’ sake, here’s a last look at the table my grandmother gave us.
It was given to her by one of her clients at First Republic Bank.
Here, also is the other pedestal table we own, which you will soon see is moving to accommodate something else (aka the cascade effect).
Ta-da!
The table is known as the Odin Round Extension Table by Norm Architects. We got it, naturally, from Design Within Reach.
Now we need some new chairs to go with it.
And here, friends, is the new home for the pedestal table.

It made room for this little desk,
Which used to be here in the studio.
Now it its place is a Shaker Table by Borge Mogensen. This was the score of the DWR sale; it’s not even for sale here in the U.S.!
And one last piece in the studio..the Venn Storage unit:
We’re going to mount the TV on the wall (and remove one or two of the shelves from behind it). Things are looking up in the studio, for sure!
