This Labor Day week off, I am working on (and supervising work on) getting the porch floor in shape. It’s going to be a long haul.
If you recall, we had an unfortunate accident in June: the hose sprung a pinhole leak and soaked the carpet through three layers to the floor. We had to remove it.
Here’s where we were left. Carpet gone from two-thirds of the porch. Black tar dust and five to eight layers of paint on the remaining part.
