For our dinner out for the girls’ weekend, we went to South Edison in Montauk. It’s nice to finally have a casual, farm-to-table beach restaurant that doesn’t kill you with the bill, but surprises you with the food. We loved it!

The restaurant was super-crowded and the bar was many deep in line for a drink:
Once we did get to our table, though, we were really happy with the food. Here are some oysters (which, unfortunately, I could not eat):
We were seated so late at dinner that by the time we were finished, almost everyone was gone!
We still decided to share two desserts.
