Restaurant North, which you’ve no doubt seen a few times here on SCF and Small Bites, was awarded a Snail of Approval by Slow Food Metro North, and threw a dinner to thank the farmers and friends of the restaurant. Yes, eggs were involved.

The dinner was delishy, but also tons of fun, especially because Eric and Stephen wanted to say thanks to their restaurant “family,” and made it feel like we were all at their house for a Sunday night supper. Kids were there. Grateful Dead on the stereo. Wine on the table. Just the kind of supper most everyone loves to share.
