Sam has really taken to these finger-puppet books, and her favorite is “The Little Fish.” “In the deep and swishy blue, what do little fishes do?” (Yes, I can recite the whole thing by now.)
But really, sometimes I wonder. Does she like the story? Or is it the orange fishy sticking out of the middle of the book that mysteriously moves by itself (ah ha!).
Or does she just like the way it tastes?
