After months of patio-project hell, we finally have a new backyard. Just in time for snow. But oh! When spring comes? We’ll be sitting pretty. Finally. Thank goodness!

The kids started by removing the rest of the lawn, all the way back to the bees.
Then they pitched the ground underneath so the water would run off into the driveway and not into the house, or pool on the patio.
Then they started rolling out the sod:
