Church, family, dinner, snow. What a beautiful evening.
More photos after the jump.
The farm contingent:
In church:
All the kids picked up a little toy animal on the way into church, and during the service, the congregation sang “Away in a Manger” while the children took their little animals up. I was convinced Samantha was going to have trouble giving hers up.
But she watched what everyone else around her was doing and then gently placed it near the other animals, opened her hand and let it go.
It was just about the sweetest thing I’d ever seen.
After church it was back to the farm for cocktails! Manhattans, to be precise:
Samantha was rather into the hors d’oeuvres:

And at the end of the evening, we found ourselves with a white Christmas!
Merry Christmas to all,
And to all a good night.
