Irene’s house was a playpen on Saturday morning, with three little rug rats running and playing and toys strewn all about. The occasion was a lovely brunch for friends. Irene put on a beautiful spread as always: a delishy bread pudding, potatoes, salad and yogurt with oranges. Of course, me being who I am, I took photos of the food, but not the people. Too bad, because the company — Katie and Mario, Kris and Sadie (Tom was away) and Irene’s friends Sonja and Richard — was delightful! And so were the rug rats.
