On one of the most beautiful evenings of the summer, we enjoyed drinks in one of the most beautiful settings around: the patio at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. Boo, Jeff and Catherine were heading for a dinner of a lifetime, and we joined them in the beginning for a little send-off.

I did not photograph the part of the evening that gave me chills: the renovation of The Shed. Filled with twinkling candles and drying herbs, a large table has a view to the pastures. It is magical. We’ll go soon.
