A little Sousa, a little opera, a little Broadway. The Orangetown Concert Band, a 30-piece group, played the park on July 1, and knocked it, if you’ll excuse the expression, out of the park.
They opened with America the Beautiful.
And Elliott Forrest of WQXR and WNYC, a Nyack resident, did a scored reading of the Gettysburg Address.
