Nuptials: Brandon and Doug

A wonderful day at Grace Church: our organist, Brandon, and his partner (and choir member) Doug, were married in a ceremony of meaningful readings, gorgeous flowers and, of course, beautiful music. Yes, I cried.

And the cake — lavendar and lemon curd! — was outrageous.

A few photos follow.

One thing I love so much about Episcopal weddings is communion: the significance of making your first meal as a married couple a holy meal that you share with your community, your friends and family, your church family. We were thankful to be at the table.

Congratulations and best wishes.
