The farm’s friend Kris, along with Laura Straus of Piermont Straus gallery, recreated a 1930s Piermont to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the filming of The Purple Rose of Cairo in the village.
She hung historic photos from the 30s in storefront windows, and organized a mob of people to dress like the 1930s.
