We ran into Kris and Tom and Suzie and Joe at the parade, and the next thing you know, we’re grilling a T-bone and blasting Hamilton tunes.
There’s nothing like having friends who show up for dinner with two — count then two — entrees. For our first course, sausage and cabbage with potatoes! (Thanks Kris and Tom!)

— served alongside arugula from our garden (and Suzie’s) and miche bread from Bien Cuit. (Thanks Suzie and Joe!)
Also, bonus: this was our first (non-family) meal around the new table.
