I now have a new favorite piece of art, purchased at a tag sale around the corner. It was done in the 90s by the niece of the owner of a popular local frame shop,
It’s the Hudson River in the center. On the bottom half is Rockland, in red — with old Hagstrom maps and lots of scribbles on Nyack and Piermont.
On the top is Westchester, in green — with images of a brain and math homework.
A nice acquisition.
Afterwards, drinks on the porch!
