For the first time, we have decided to cut down our own Christmas tree.
One of the main reasons? We want to make sure we’re getting the freshest tree we can.
Also, as you can see, it’s a fun outing, and can get you in the holiday spirit quicker than you can say bonfire.
Measuring stick? Check.
Many trees, but many small ones.
I love that it was cloudy. Perfect.
Tree.
Bagging her up.
Mr. Emmerich, the owner of the farm, with a feather in his cap.
He said it took him 20 years to convince his wife to buy the property from his mother, and they couldn’t be happier.
They rent the space out for weddings, too.
We throw the tree on the back of the tractor for the trek back to the car.
Locked and loaded.
Merry Christmas all, and welcome to our new tradition!
