One of my favorite paintings in one of my favorite museums.
After my Dad visited The Phillips Collection many years ago, he sent me a postcard with Renoir’s “Luncheon of the Boating Party” on the front. On the back he wrote: “Aren’t they having fun!?”
Yes, I think they are having fun!
