Because NorthJersey.com is a sponsor of the Montclair Film Festival, a few of us were invited (by Wendy, thanks Wendy!) to attend a fundraiser for the festival at NJPAC in Newark, where Stephen Colbert interviewed Meryl Streep in front of a live audience. Wow! What a night.

Then we were whisked into another room, where we met and shook hands with Stephen Colbert and Meryl Streep. And then posed for a group photo with them.
Afterwards, we went back to the VIP party, where Stephen and Meryl made a few remarks from the podium right in front of our table.
And afterwards, we made our way to our box in the theater.
Where we watched a great show. The interview was smart — and so was she. And so funny, too.
About halfway through the show, Stephen made them martinis.
