A holiday lunch at Porta — and a goodbye to our food editor Susan, who is (happily!) retiring. Food was terrific. Company was lovely. We will miss Susan.
Bar at Porto. Communal tables. Wood-fired pizza. Bibb salad with gorgonzola and walnuts. “Three trees”: radicchio, arugula, Belgian endive, prosciutto, pear and rosemary vinaigrette. Robadip-dip (this was killer!) Potato-fennel gratin with Robiola cheese and hazelnuts. Wow! Porta. Brussels Sprouts pizza. Meatball pizza.
