We arrived in Minnesota around lunchtime on a Thursday. Doris had salads ready and waiting for us.
She had prepared a pasta salad with olives and cucumbers, a broccoli salad with bacon and grapes and Doris’ Cucumbers Salad. Here she is giving them a stir before serving:

After lunch, we went over to the church to see about some dish towels.
Yes, you read that right. Doris gave us some dish towels for our engagement lo these many years ago, and each had a different day of the week embroidered onto them. We were on the hunt for more, but alas we did not find them. But we did find some pretty cute patterns otherwise.
