A little lunch with the family at the new restaurant at the mall. The Yard House is a chain that prides itself on craft beer. And TVs. We were happy for the crayons.
For Samantha, sweet potato fries with maple-bacon dipping sauce (oh yes, you read that right) and deviled eggs with chili.
We all three shared a Korean pork belly taco.
Samantha also had some crab cakes:
And the Kung Pao calamari:
All in all, not bad! Not perfect, but not bad. If you’re in the mall and you need a spot to take a break, we would recommend it.
Some time we’ll have to come back without the crayons.
The 411 on Yard House: A chain that prides itself on craft beer and sports, but with a wide and varied menu that flits between America and Asia with some South American in there, too. The setting is masculine, but girls will like it, too. Many, many locations. Web site here.
