It’s time to prune the trees. We also got ourselves in a bit of a pickle when we decided to swap out the dining room rug. But all worked out in the end.
First, the cherry tree:
We also did pears, blueberries and currants.
Then, we decided to pull up the old rug. Unfortunately, years ago, a dog peed on the rug. We never realized the pad did not dry. The entire pad had disintegrated and the rubber was stuck to the wood floor. Ugh.
The pad was totally stuck. We had to pull and scrape, pull and scrape. Yes, those are kneepads .
Finally, with one big pull (and scrape), we got it up.
We enlisted help in the clean-up.
Not bad!
