A nice little ritual we’ve taken to doing each year for Advent.
Sam reads the weekly Advent prayer and lights that week’s candles. Then we read a little story from our Advent calendar, which, with little books, tells the story of Christmas over 24 days. You can hang the books on the tree after you’ve read them.
This year, Jessica added a fun element. She sent along a Lego Advent calendar. Each day there’s a different little Lego puzzle. She said her boys love it. So does Sam!
The tree, now with some Advent calendar books hanging on it!
And, tonight, a showing of White Christmas, one of Greg’s favorite movies. We watch it every year.
