We headed back to Polpettina for a Restaurants We Love story for The Journal News, and confirmed, that, yes, the pizza is still delicious. So is the chicken: crispy skin, juicy meat and terrific roasted vegetables alongside.
The bees swarm again. We invited John and Philippe to take this one.
Just toast some bread, spread some ricotta, toss a few thyme leaves and drizzle a little honey. Yum.
Easy and delicious. Just wrap the speck around the scallops and sauté for a few minutes. Roast asparagus for 10 minutes and throw the bread in at the end. Drizzle with lemon olive oil. Supper.
We planted two lilacs in fall 2010, but we didn’t see any blooms in 2011. Looks like this is our year!

The bees swarmed again! This time, we invited Philippe and John to come over and get them. They did. They were happy to have them. And it looks like they got a queen, so all is good.
