We had a little bit of an anniversary celebration at our favey local restaurant, Cafe Barcel. I got the frisee salad with lardons, blue cheese and, yes, the poached egg. That’s right.

I don’t know the real name of this beach, but it’s right down the block from Lettie’s place, and we enjoyed a bit of sun and fun there:

I made a marinade of what we had in the house —limes, herbs, grapefruit, and a little olive oil and yuzu vinegar — and served with with swordfish and zucchini.
Our neighbor, as we might have mentioned, has some chickens. While Tasha and Shannon were taking care of them one evening, we went over for another look.
