Another storm! We woke up to a few inches, and expected even more to pile up throughout the day. A fortifying breakfast was in order! Benton’s bacon, Charlie’s eggs and Fairway’s brioche. Delishy!

Four families gathered at Kelli and Patrick’s for a fun-filled Easter egg hunt, kids dinner and a big ol’ plate of ham. We started with bloody marys and smoked salmon pizza and ended with lemon-chocolate tart. All was delicious!

For our first Easter dinner, we enjoyed a lovely ham from Edward’s of Surry, Va. at the home of Peggy and Jim, whom we like to refer to lovingly as Les Gilberts.
Our neighbor, as we might have mentioned, has some chickens. While Tasha and Shannon were taking care of them one evening, we went over for another look.
