Day four at the beach was rather a wash-out, so we headed into town to get the makings for a dinner at the unit. Gorgeous seafood, gorgeous produce, beautiful bread and lots more. A terrific market all around.

We arrived in Amagansett, dropped off our bags and headed across the street to our favorite lunch spot, Clam Bar. Greg got his favorite sandwich, the grilled tuna. It comes with local tomatoes and is out of this world:
We had a grand old time celebrating the grand old flag at Lettie’s on Independence Day. We grilled. Drank wine. And laughed. Tons.
Lettie’s place in Southold is right across the street from Croteaux Vineyard. How convenient!
