The weather was iffy, but as dinner time rolled around, it became apparent that we’d be able to screen SCF’s first “first run” film of the season. (If you can call a DVD release a first run!) Tasha supplied The Great Gatsby, which was a brilliant addition to the outdoor film program at the farm. Greg grilled double cut pork chops and we served with with, yes, you guessed it, tomatoes and corn.
Tonight’s twist on caprese includes chopped kalamata olives and lemon olive oil. Yum!
I couldn’t resist a bite of bread!
Samantha can now say “Great Gatsby.”
The beginning of the evening was marked by a happy occasion, too. A housewarming gift for Boo from many of her friends. Congratulations, Boo!
