Developing Cocktail Recipes with New York State Spirits

My good friend and colleague Ed and I got together on a Saturday night to work on a story about New York State spirits. We researched and wrote about several local distilleries, and now we’re developing cocktail recipes that people could use with them!

For supper we had a Sour Cherry Farm classic, hickory-smoked chicken and roasted potatoes:

And later, we had Emiy’s galette with after-dinner drinks by the fire.

A splendid time was had by all. Our favorite recipe? The Applejack Old Fashioned.
