We do love a farmers market, but it’s awfully nice to have a farm stand nearby, too. We get corn at Dr. Davies Farm all summer long, and, come fall, it’s chockful of apples. Simple, humble, so real, so good.

Day four at the beach was rather a wash-out, so we headed into town to get the makings for a dinner at the unit. Gorgeous seafood, gorgeous produce, beautiful bread and lots more. A terrific market all around.
